Scanning and Ink Hand Print

Ink Hand Print Method - Nothing could be simpler.

Step 1
Take a washable printers ink (for example; Gestetner duplicating ink) on a plate of glass or any flat surface; put ink on the flat surface, and take a roller and spread the ink onto it.

Step 2
Take the roller and roll it well onto each palm surface alternately and onto one finger at a time without smudging; press onto the paper. Repeat with the other hand.

Step 3
Apply your hand (with some pressure) onto a flat paper and mark it 'Right hand' and 'Left hand'. Ensure that you make clear prints, showing all the fine lines on the palms.

Step 4
Wash your hands and let the prints dry.

Step 5
When dry, scan the prints on a flat-bed scanner and e-mail to info@swaminath.com

Step 6
It is important that you have both palm prints and the front hand scan shows fingers and nails. The fingers and nails can be put under a scanner.

Scan Method

Simply put your hands into a scanner and cover them with a cloth (to ensure that the outside light does not interfere with the scan). Have a friend press the scan button. If the lines show clearly, including the fine ones, you can send them via e-mail.
